How am I billed?
We bill
monthly, annually or if you wish to treat our service as
a capital expenditure, we offer a 3 year lease.
You may
pay by company check or credit card.
Annual
payments receive a 7% discount.
We also
discount for multiple stations at different locations of
the same business and we discount for having more than
one station at the same location.
We begin
billing after the station is received at your location.
I want to buy your station and toys?

No Way!
You can
easily buy lots of waiting room toys. You can even
figure out what toys we use and buy them too. You
could clip sound wires and you could mount them to lap
play boards just like us. But our patent pending
business is all about service. We take care of our
toys, regularly inspecting them for safety and
operational issues and we clean them too. We
also keep detailed documents which in the end, covers
your rear. Buying waiting room toys only
creates problems. Something For Kids is all about
your very best solution.

What
is a toy compliance report?
Our
toy compliance report is a written report detailing our
practices and procedures followed by a documented report
demonstrating that we have followed those procedures
with the toys we have located at your business.

If my toy
station becomes worn or broken, do you replace it?
Yes we
do, free of charge!
We do
remind our auto dealers that bashing our station with a
sledgehammer for television ads is not covered in our
replacement offer.
Are
the disinfectant wipes free?
Yes.
We provide wipes as needed to our customers. Do we
have a limit? Sure we do. We don't like to
be abused, but in general it's all free!
Are
the disinfectant wipes safe for skin?
We
have had many enquires about the use of surface
disinfectant wipes and skin contact. In the
practice of infectious disease control, our wipes maker
advises the use of gloves, especially for health care
workers disinfecting surfaces in an infected area.
The wipes themselves however are not harmful to skin.
We use the HB specifically because it does not contain
alcohol which can cause a stinging sensation.
To
clean our toys, it is okay, standard practice to use
your bare hands.
What
kind of disinfectant wipes are used?
In the
United States we use the PDI Sani Cloth HB wipe and in
Canada we use Butchers PerCept RTU Wipes.
Both
products are surface disinfectant wipes which means the
wipes are intended for use on the toys and lap play
boards, not on children.
Why
two different wipes? PDI, our main supplier has
not submitted the HB to Health Canada. It's more
aggressive product, the Sani Cloth Plus is used in
Canada, but we stopped using the Plus because it
contains alcohol. We did this because we do see
parents use our wipes ON THEIR CHILDREN and we wanted to
know that in this unintended outcome the children would
not be harmed. (Alcohol causes eyes and cuts to
sting.) Thus, in our search for a high performance
disinfectant wipe for out Canadian customers, we
selected the Butcher's PerCept product.
What are lap play boards?
We
mount all of our toys to lap play boards such as the one
pictured below.

We
have several reasons for this. First and foremost,
we want to encourage inanimate behavior, that is we want
children to sit and play, not throw, push, run or swing.
Secondly, the lap play board uniquely identifies our
toys so that your staff and your customers recognize
which toys are part of our safety inspection and
cleaning process. It also helps cut down on theft!
How do you exchange toys with me?
We
have a very cool Toy Exchange shipping box which serves
as a two-way shipper.

We
include a fresh set of toys, more disinfectant wipes
when needed and a UPS call tag. You simply place
the call tag on the box and turn it out to UPS.
Do you have a sales staff in my area?
While
we cover all of the United States and Canada in our
current service program, there is a high likelihood we
do not have a sales person in your area because we do
not employ sales professionals.
We are
indeed a very unique company (having no sales staff).
Instead we promote education and development of best
practices in the use of waiting room toys. Our
website and the support we offer from our main
headquarters models our plan and promotes best bractices.
We do
travel throughout the United States and Canada and would
love the opportunity to share our story and vision with
you. Watch our News page for upcoming appearances.
